CCPC’s goal is to adopt 80 families during this holiday season. Support a family ($60) and get a memorable tree ornament as a reminder. Each family will receive a beautfiul holiday basket that we will prepare. Collections and donations are being received through December 11.
We are in the last two weeks of the collection period and have collected about half of our goal. Please help out as much as you can. There are opportunities to serve not only through donation but through volunteering throughout any or every activity listed below.
The schedule of activites is as follows:
November 6 thru December 11: Donation and adopting families
December 13-14: Shopping for the basket items
December 16(Friday night): Packing and Preparing the Baskets
December 17 (Saturday): “Delivery”* from 10am – 2pm
*The families will actually be coming to CCPC to pick up the baskets.
Let’s get in the spirit and get our community groups involved. Let’s get our ministries involved to be a great witness to those families in need and share not only these wonderful baskets but also Christ and His love.

The Advent Devotional file (21 MB) that Pastor Mitchel Lee mentioned during his sermon can be downloaded from the link. The file was created to be printed out and made into a booklet so the normal page settings are a little off so please find the page number at the bottom of each page and follow accordingly. (If we get an updated booklet file, we will replace this one. )

This Sunday is Pastor Young’s last Sunday with us! The time has gone by really quickly. We are going to gather immediately after service for a time of fellowship and food to celebrate what God has done over the past two years.
